Also the majority of time will be for networking and hopefully building your team to compete in the coming ICE year.
The 2009 competition Kicked off mid-November . 2010 Kickoff February 24th 6:00pm at Microsoft
Team Building Events:
Spanning many months and various locations team building events are a place where you can go (in your geographical location) and learn more about ICE, deadlines, general process, hear from past competitors as well as pitches from potential competitors. Every team building event is different; though there may be some same attendees the majority of time you will meet someone who you haven't meet before.
If you are looking for a team to work with or have an idea and need additional team members this is the ideal place to network. Color Coded Nametags allow you quick identification of who you may want to talk to.
It is your responsibility to find a team, ICE will help in any way possible with various team building events and online resources, but in order to be eligible for ICE teams must compete with an idea for improving an existing technology or new technology in the clean energy field. An entrant’s business must support a technology, product, or service in the clean energy field.
Teams will apply to the competition by a deadline (TBD); applying requires all team mates contact information as well as an executive summary of the company and an optional Powerpoint slide presentation.
