The Ignite Clean Energy competition will run from December 2007 through May 2008:

| Feb 26 5:00 PM Deadline (Tuesday) | Online Submission | Submit executive summaries and presentation slides to qualify for an invitation to the semi-finals. |
| First week in March | Emails to contestants | Notice of selection to compete in the semi-finals. |
| March 13th | Foley Hoag- Boston | Bootcamp. All semi-finalists must attend & others are welcome. |
| April 8th Starts at x:00 PM |
Olin College | Semi-finals. Each qualified entrant will make a business plan presentation of up to fifteen minutes followed by a Q&A/feedback session with a panel of judges. Ten teams will be selected to go to the finals. |

Emails to contestants | Notice of Finalists. All contestants will receive an email notifying them of the ten finalists. |
| May 1 (Thursday) | Online submission | Submit full business plans. |
| May 10 (Saturday) | Location TBD | Closed door finals presentations. Each finalist will make a business plan presentation in private followed by a Q&A session with a panel of judges. |

Location TBD | Public finals presentations and awards. Each finalist will make a 10-minute business plan presentation at a public event. Award winners will be announced. |
