Welcome to the official website of the Ignite Clean Energy Business Presentation Competition! We hope that you take full advantage of this site in terms of the resources it offers and the opportunities to interact with the rest of the community.
All registered members can add comments to any of the blogs, stories, and other entries that have that feature, can write your own blog, use the Main Calendar, participate in forums and create your own books if you have a lot you want to communicate.
If you decide to get more involved in the community, for instance by entering as a contestant, becoming a volunteer for one of our committees or events, applying to be a mentor, you will also be given access to the appropriate group, which provides private communications for members of that group. Please make sure you take advantage of the groups as they provide a virtual meeting place for your colleagues.
Most important, let us know by visiting the forum (topic: "Website Improvements", see below or click on Group forums in the right-hand navigation and then on General Discussion) what we can do to improve this website to make it more useful to you as a member of the Clean Energy Cluster and the ICE Community.

Excellent work for thesis’s - looking for volunteer graduate students and professionals in 2 roles of mechanical engineer and civil engineer to develop feasibility studies, research and development of wave and tide actuated pump. In addition, the second phase will also require climatologists, meteorologists and agriculture engineers. An attorney will be needed eventually to incorporate and to review and draw up contracts. Volunteer professionals welcomed as well.
Team will develop patent pending “Wave And Tide Actuated Renewable Energy Pump” to be used for – 1. Hydro-electric power generation. 2. Seafood Farming. 3. Land reclamation from the sea. 4. Oxygen regeneration in sea dead zones. 5. Farmland creation. 6. Desalinization of seawater. 7. Oil spill and containment cleanup.

Ideal candidates will be familiar or experts in: product design, developement, prototyping, market/industry knowledge. Our intended point of entry is Electric Vehicles (EV). automotive or secondary battery industry, advanced materials (chemical or electrical), research experts.

• Biologist or Biological engineer: this person will be responsible for all issues related with raw material analyses & supply. This person will be also responsible for all issues related with fuel production and its distribution. He or she will be the COO and may be the CFO;
• Electric or Mechanical engineer: this person will be responsible for all issues related with client energy needs such as boiler adaptation thus fuel sales. He or she will be the VP of sales.
The enterprise has been developed by Lucio Neto since 2005. Mr. Neto, a native of Brazil, used to be an I.O. with E+Co Brazil since March/2004 until August/2007; when he moved to Boston University in order to develop this business plan. At E+Co his activities included project development, investments analysis, business development support to entrepreneurs, structuring project finance assistance, investment package preparation, asset management support and business post investment, portfolio management and development of strategic partnerships. Prior to joining E+Co Brazil, Mr. Felix was a sales representative for Petróleo Ipiranga, a leading national fuel distributor.
