Congratulations 2007 First-Place Winner RSI Silicon!

The judging committee for the Ignite Clean Energy (ICE) Competition announced that RSI Silicon of Westborough, Mass. was selected as the winner of the Ignite Clean Energy Presentation Business Competition which was held yesterday at the Hyatt Regency Boston. The first place team won $25,000 cash, three months worth of public relations services from Bell Pottinger USA and $15,000 in legal services provided by Mintz Levin.

The MTC has been the primary sponsor of the Ignite Clean Energy Competition since its inception in 2004. Their initial and ongoing support has enabled the Energy SIG to pursue a course of continuous improvement, year after year. Bell Pottinger USA is new to the ICE Competition for 2007. The ICE team at Bell Pottinger, Marlin Collingwood, Jessica Devaney and Jessica Francisco, performed public relations and marketing work pro bono, raising the profile of the competition, helping to obtain guest speakers and managing relationships with a number of new media outlets. ICE was featured for the first time on NECN and in the Herald, among others. In addition to their work directly on supporting the contest, Bell Pottinger provided 3 months of PR services to the Grand Prize winner.
